What is TALENT and how do I evidence it?

Updated: Jun 20

The impact of the COVID pandemic has affected every one of us, if predictions are correct, there will likely be ramifications for years to come. The pandemic has reinforced the need to introduce an effective, digital solution to showcase the talents of young people beyond grades alone whilst connecting them to the wider FE, HE, apprenticeship and employer opportunities, both locally and further afield. This is exactly what your globalbridge profile will do.

curriculum vitae format for students

Talent is an exceptional natural ability, especially in a particular activity, such as music. Talent is often thought of as the kind of ability that comes without training—something that you're born with. It is often contrasted with skill, which is an ability acquired and developed through practice. We are all born with talents, we just need to recognise them and have access to a a platform to show them.

Within your gb profile there is a talents section.

Everyone has talents!

To help you recognise your talents look at the table below and see if you can match any of them with things you have done/do in your life so you can add them to your gb profile.

evidencing your talent

This list is by no means exhaustive, but we hope here at globalbridge, that you have found it useful, and has given you more clarity on what talents are, and how to evidence talents within your profile.
